Why is this program important?

Cultural programming is important to the youth’s wellbeing now and for their journey ahead. We want to provide them the opportunity to feel a sense of belonging and security. The focus of the cultural programming is cultural identity and preservation, incorporating health, wellness, and healing within programming offered to our young people. To provide a healthy and effective opportunity for our youth to continue or to begin building a relationship with the land, community support and team effectiveness, and our organization support and team effectiveness as no youth is left out.

Who is the program for?

All young people between the age of 12-24, all youth accessing Home Base locations and or Foster Family Coalition, who want the support to discover or continue to develop their cultural identity, social identity, and relationship with community.
